5th grade syllabus

This syllabus covers 10 full weeks of classes. It was designed for 45 minutes classes, 4 days a week with 30 minute classes on Friday.

Projects can be easily adapted to fit different schedules by separating them into specific tasks. Classes can be extended or shortened with Typing Club and the Journal (daily Do Nows).

For classes that are over 45 minutes:

• students are expected to complete their Journal by answering a prompt a day. Each prompt requires a minimum of 2 sentences and an image.

• students will be expected to complete 20 lessons a week, instead of 10 lessons.

If class is shorter than 45 minutes, remove the Do Now (Journal) and Exit Ticket (Typing Club).
